Welcome
Helping artists navigate public art—and helping professionals run better programs.

Public art is powerful. It brings beauty to public spaces, tells community stories, and creates real, sustainable work for artists. But for many artists, the public art world feels intimidating or inaccessible. And for administrators and program leaders, launching or managing projects can feel like reinventing the wheel every time.

I’ve built this site to bridge that gap—with real-world tools, guidance, and insight from someone who’s been on the inside of public art calls for years.

ABOUT ME
I’m Jessica Stanley, and I help artists and public art professionals navigate the world of public art with clarity and confidence.

Since 2018, I’ve applied to over 50 public art calls each year and reviewed hundreds more—learning what makes opportunities fair, accessible, and successful. Through this site, I share the lessons, tools, and strategies that I’ve picked up along the way—so others don’t have to figure it out the hard way.
